1. Scope of my work
I offer coaching and tarot-based reflection for personal development, decision-making, and self-understanding.
I do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe for any physical or mental-health condition.
I do not offer legal, financial, or medical advice and will always recommend you speak to an appropriate professional for those matters.
2. Client autonomy
You are always responsible for your own choices and actions.
You are free to stop a session or series of sessions at any time.
I will never pressure you to book more sessions, buy products, or follow a particular life path.
3. Confidentiality & privacy
I keep what you share in sessions strictly confidential, with the usual legal exceptions (for example, if there is serious and imminent risk of harm to you or another person, or where I am legally required to report).
I store any notes or client data securely and in line with relevant data-protection laws.
4. My qualifications
I am not a licensed therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, or doctor.
I describe my experience, training, and background honestly and do not claim titles I do not hold.
If I refer to psychology or therapeutic concepts, it is as inspiration and education, not as a substitute for formal treatment.
5. Respect and non-discrimination
I work to create a space that is respectful of gender, sexuality, relationship style, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability and neurotype.
If you ever feel I have missed something or caused harm, I invite you to tell me so I can repair and adjust.
6. Boundaries & dual relationships
I maintain professional boundaries and avoid relationships with clients that could create conflicts of interest or exploitation.
I do not engage in sexual or romantic relationships with clients.
I will not work with you while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and I ask the same of you.
7. Tarot ethics
I use tarot as a tool for reflection and empowerment, not to create fear.
I do not claim to remove curses, fix “bad energy” for a fee, or guarantee outcomes.
I avoid third-party snooping questions (e.g. spying on partners or colleagues) and focus on your choices and experience.
I will decline questions about gambling, investments, or strictly legal/medical advice.
8. Referrals & limits
If your needs are outside my competence (for example, acute mental-health crises, addiction, or complex trauma work), I will say so clearly and, where possible, signpost you to other resources or professionals.
I maintain my own supervision/peer support to reflect on my work and keep learning.
9. Fairness & transparency
My fees, session length, and cancellation policy are stated clearly in advance.
If I need to change or cancel an appointment, I will give as much notice as reasonably possible.
10. Future prediction
Tarot readings don’t offer absolute predictions. Readings only show potential paths based on your current situations
Any interaction you do after a reading will influence what came up in the reading and change what came up
You and everyone you are in contact with can use agency and free will to change any reading results.
This code is inspired by established coaching and tarot ethics documents, including the International Coaching Federation’s Code of Ethics, the Global Code of Ethics for Coaches and Mentors, and various tarot readers’ codes of ethics. By purchasing a reading from me, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms outlined in this Code of Ethics.
May you have love, life and light
