Concerning the Work

Mme Axis works with those presently navigating change: departures, break-ups, exhaustion, creative dead ends and other alterations of circumstance.

The work is practical rather than prophetic. Tarot, coaching, psychological frameworks and various less easily classified techniques may be employed in the investigation. The purpose is to discover what has become stuck, what may need changing, and what might reasonably be done next.

Mme Axis does not tell you what to do, predict your future or make decisions on your behalf. The client retains the final word.

The First Rule: You Remain in Charge

You are responsible for your own choices and may discontinue a session or series of sessions at any time.

No pressure will be applied to purchase further sessions, products or particular ways of living.

Concerning Qualifications

Mme Axis is not a doctor, psychologist, psychiatrist, psychotherapist or licensed therapist.

Psychological and therapeutic concepts may occasionally be employed as education or inspiration, but never as a substitute for appropriate professional treatment.

Matters exceeding the competence of the establishment will be referred elsewhere.

Confidentiality

What is said in consultation is treated as confidential, subject to the usual legal exceptions, including serious and imminent danger or a legal obligation to disclose.

Client information is stored using services located in Europe and the United States. Data may be deleted upon request by writing to the Office of Correspondence.

Proper Conduct

The establishment maintains professional boundaries and does not conduct romantic or sexual relationships with clients.

Consultations are conducted without intoxication, on either side of the desk.

All persons are to be treated with respect, regardless of gender, sexuality, relationship style, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability or neurotype.

Should Mme Axis cause offence, misunderstanding or other unintended damage, this may be reported to the Office for investigation.

Concerning the Cards

Tarot is employed as an instrument of reflection and investigation, never as an apparatus for producing fear.

No curses are removed. No energies are repaired for a fee. No outcome is guaranteed.

Questions concerning another person's private thoughts or actions are generally returned to their rightful owner: you.

Gambling, investments, and medical, legal or financial questions are outside the jurisdiction of the cards.

Matters Requiring Another Department

Acute mental-health crises, addiction, complex trauma and other matters beyond the scope of this establishment require appropriately qualified professional assistance.

Mme Axis will say so plainly and, where possible, point you towards the appropriate department.

The proprietor maintains supervision and peer consultation and continues to investigate the limits of her own knowledge.

Fees, Appointments & Other Administrative Matters

Fees, session duration and cancellation arrangements are stated in advance.

If the Office must alter or cancel an appointment, reasonable notice will be given.

No particular result, transformation or healing is promised. What happens afterwards remains partly in the hands of the person concerned — as, regrettably, does most of life.

Final Notice

The methods employed here are intended to support reflection, agency and practical change. They do not override free will, circumstance or the occasional tendency of reality to behave unpredictably.
