A Notion Template for people with HIT (Histamine Intolerance)
I created a 1300 items histamine food list. I have AuDHD and used my autistic hyperfocus to actually create this whole thing by hand. It's crazy, but I loved every minute of this work. It allowed me to apply my weird survival skill to help others with something I struggle with myself. You might have heard about the link between ADHD and lifelong gut problems? I have histamine intolerance and use this database to monitor daily what I eat.
With this database, you can find histamine levels of a food in seconds, in 16 different languages, without interrupting your moment to do Histamine research. Search by entering a word or use a menu organised like you would expect in a supermarket. No more impulse buying and hoping that it's going to be okay. For me, this database replaces hoping with knowing.
More than 1300 food items in 16 languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Indonesian, Turkish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Greek, Hindi, Bengali, Russian, Arabic)
10 common supermarket categories (Beverages, Meat/Fish, Spices, Fruits/Vegetables, Sweets, Muesli, Breads, Ready meals, Snacks) + a supplements/preservatives category
Based on the latest Histamine research
2 menus (find by language, find by category)
